End the Raw Milk Ban

Time to support the sale of raw milk. It's not just milk but the third most amazing food source on the planet behind human breast milk and donkey milk. You want the fountain of youth? Then you want raw milk.

Congressman Ron Paul has introduced HR 778, a bill that would effectively end the current federal ban on raw milk and raw milk products for human consumption in interstate commerce. At the present time, there is a disconnect between the laws on the consumption of raw milk and the laws on its sale. While the consumption of raw milk is legal in all fifty states, the sale of raw milk is illegal in about half the states. Passage of HR 778 into law would enable everyone to exercise their right to consume raw milk, whether they live in a state where the sale of raw milk is illegal or in a state where the sale is legal but sources are limited.

The demand for raw milk is growing tremendously. Greater numbers of consumers are crossing state lines to obtain raw milk and raw milk products. It is time to recognize that the federal ban is an unjust, unworkable law. Uphold freedom of food choice by signing the petition in support of HR 778.

And guess what? You don't have a demand for raw milk unless it organic. That means very happy cows produce very high quality milk. If you think raw milk is gross, you're misinformed. Breast fed babies consume raw milk from their mothers - what? did you think her breasts were cooled down?

Here's the basics: pasteurized milk kills off almost all of the beneficials in the milk. With those killed off the milk must be cooled or else pathogens form in the milk. Not so with raw milk as the beneficials kill off any pathogens, even while the raw milk is at room temperature.

Therefore pasteurized milk actually creates the conditions its trying to avoid. Pasteurization is simply for the purpose of.... I don't know what its purpose is because everything we've been taught about it is flat out wrong.
