What the Health?
Health Care Industry Depends on Keeping You Sick
If Americans become healthier, there will be fewer health care jobs.
There you have perhaps the chief reason why modern medicine drags it feet when it comes to preventive care. The health care industry isn't the least bit interested in you becoming healthy.
The government is complicit in spawning the diabetes/obesity epidemic by subsidizing the production of non-nutrient-dense foods and high-fructose corn syrup.
Non-nutrient-dense food is the technically correct term for junk food and fast foods. Anything that is overly processed and marketed to you via a cardboard box can rightfully be considered "non-nutrient-dense"
Grow your own fresh, organic veggies. You will be shocked at how good they taste and how nutrient rich they area. It's the first step to good health. All I want to do is get my neighbors started. It would be cool to have every backyard in my neighborhood converted into growing food.
The benefits would accrue to everyone: healthy neighbors are happy, productive neighbors. That's my dream.
